Q:  I get headaches from red wine , or my face gets flush, or I get red skin blotches, is this normal ?
A: This usually occurs when someone is allergic, especially to sulfites . However, there is no scientific proof that sulfites cause these headaches. Sulfites act as a preservative, for longevity and shelf life of a product, such as wine, food, and even some medicines. In this case,  it is naturally occurring on the grapes. Look for wines that are USDA Certified Organic by the Wine Growers Association. Consult with your Doctor on the sensitivity level of allergy that you may have.

Q: Can I get a wine that just tastes good ?

A: Wine is always subjective, even with wine professionals, and what is good wine to one person, is not necessarily good to another !!  It's all about taste !!

Q: When I go out to eat at a restaurant, and have a glass of wine, which I enjoyed, how come I cannot find that wine in the stores ?

A: Most wines in restaurants, are just for the restaurants, sorry, there's more profit !! You might find a few in stores, but, not many !! Just for the record, I usually go to a restaurant to eat, not for the wine. However, I order the house wine, it's just as good, and will go with my meal !!

Q: Why can't I find certain wines in stores ?

A: It's all about geographic's, popularity, and most important, allocation's !!  Certain wine store's only get 3 to 5 cases in a year. If it come's from Europe, depending on weather conditions, and shipping, can take a month or several months, even several years, before it arrives.
